Internal glass doors can either be opened to create an open plan layout from the living room into the dramatic mountain-view Dining room which is bright, welcoming and can sit up to 4 guests comfortably. The property also features a newly fitted compact kitchen featuring all the desired appliances for a trouble-free self-catering holiday including an oven, gas hob, sink, dishwasher, washing machine and all the necessary utensils and crockery. The sleeping accommodation consists of a large master bedroom with double bed and modern furniture and a second child-friendly bedroom which features a set of modern bunk beds. A modern and high quality bathroom is also provided for guests in the apartment. Outside guests can enjoy the sunny resident garden with lawn and swimming pool! Carlazzo is a pretty mountainside village situated just a 10 minute’s drive to Lake Como and Lake Lugano and just a short walk from the pretty nature reserve of Lago di Piano with its lakeshore cycle paths and picnic areas. The nearby local amenities found in the lakeside resort town of Porlezza include supermarkets, banks, restaurants, and cafes serving fresh ice-cream and high street clothes shops. Guests can enjoy activities such as trekking, cycling and horse riding around Porlezza, tennis in nearby Loveno and golf at the world famous Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club on the Menaggio hillside which overlooks the breathtaking Lake Como. Lake Lugano offers unspoilt mountainside nature parks as well as the 21st century lakeside city of Lugano which offers a wide range of cosmopolitan delights including fine dining, designer shopping boulevards, elegant piazzas and parks, theatres, year round cultural events, clubs, bars and a newly opened casino. Lake Como is arguably one of the prettiest and romantic of the Italian lakes with many picturesque resort towns such as Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna to enjoy as well as some extremely fine villas such as Villa Carlotta, Villa del Balbianello and the Villa Melzi gardens. Lake Como also offers authentic Italian fine dining experiences at La Darsena and La Fagurida in Tremezzo, the contemporary La Piazzetta in Argegno and the refined Gatto Nero in Cernobbio, to name a few. | To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival. | |||||||||||||||||||||
